POOCHIE'S POLICIES

 

  * Your pet's safety and comfort is our primary concern.   Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing medical conditions so we can avoid agravating these situations.  Please let us know of any prior grooming history you or your pet may not have found totally satisfactory. 

 

 * Veterinary Records of vaccinations and medical condition are required to assure the health and safety of the staff and all pet's in our Parlor.

 

* Although Poochie's Parlor uses only the finest all natural pet products available,  you may have a special shampoo or conditioner that you prefer on your pet.  Please allow us to use it to assure comfort and consistency to your pet's groom.

 
 
 
  
 *  We strongly discourage dematting a pet.  Excessive dematting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems.  The best course of action is to clip down all matted fur allowing new, healthy hair to grow.  Excessive matting can be avoided with regular brushing and grooming.
 
*  Most pets are very well behaved but not all are "perfect angels."  We understand this and welcome meeting those different personalities as part of our job.  However, for the benefit of all involved, we will not provide services for vicious or aggressive attitudes and we will reserve the right to refuse service to these pets.
 
 *  You will be informed in advance of any additional charges that may apply to special conditions requiring unusual time and effort.  These include severely matted and knotted coats and pets with behavioral problems.
